The event is hosted by the North West Network and will take place on 6 November 2025.

Speaker –
Professor Adam Boddison, Chief Executive, Project Management Association
Adam joined APM as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in September 2021 after previously serving as CEO and senior executive at a number of educational institutions.
In addition to APM, Adam also consults and volunteers to support social benefit organizations and initiatives.
Adam is a Visiting Professor at Stranmills University and the University of Leicester (Business School). He is the author of several books and is a qualified clinical hypnotist.
In 2022, Adam was awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
Alex Tillett, Associate, Project Management, UK&I, AECOM
Alex is an accomplished Project Manager with over 18 years of experience delivering complex engineering and infrastructure projects across the maritime, civil, mechanical and electrical sectors. As a specialist in NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contracts (ECC), he leverages the organisation’s philosophy to drive clarity, successful project outcomes and end-to-end project lifecycle delivery. Currently an Assistant Project Manager in AECOM’s Infrastructure Project Management team, Alex brings a diverse skill set informed by cross-disciplinary expertise and a deep understanding of stakeholder engagement in large, matrixed organisations.
Steve Webb RIBA, RIAS, ARB, Managing Director of Design UK and Ireland, AECOM
Steve leads AECOM’s specialist design management team in the UK and Ireland, managing multi-disciplinary design teams on complex, large-scale projects in the UK and internationally. Steve has been with AECOM since 2014 and is a qualified architect with over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. During this time, he has had the opportunity to work across a range of sectors, including masterplanning, transport, commercial offices, mixed-use, education, residential, healthcare, defence and leisure/sports projects.
In recent years, Steve has led several large international projects and has particular experience in addressing the challenges of managing design across multiple geographies to realize client visions on time and on budget.
Helen Patel, Assistant, Project Manager, UK&I, AECOM
Helen is an Assistant Project Manager at AECOM, with a Masters in Construction Project Management from the University of Salford. Helen has contributed to high impact projects, including working with the Environment Agency and the Great Grid Partnership, where she has demonstrated her ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and deliver value through structured project approaches. Her presentation at the Flood and Coastal conference demonstrated her deep understanding of the critical role of specialist organisations and the power of cross-sector collaboration in delivering resilient infrastructure.
